Indio Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Indio, California.
The Indio Golf Course opened in 1964. The course was designed by Lawrence Hughes.
Indio's Municipal Golf Course offers one of the longest par 3 courses in the country ranging from 120 to 240 yards. This facility was constructed 50 years ago by the City of Indio on approximately 46 acres, with a lake located between the 9th hole and 18th holes, a driving range and practice putting green, parking lot, a combined clubhouse and pro shop and THE COURSE IS LIGHTED for night play.
Par for the course is 54. From the back tees the course plays to 3,004 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 2,662 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 241 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 18, a par-3 that plays to 116 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 4, a 241 yard par-3 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 10, a 120 yard par-3.

This course has 18 holes of all par three with just over 3,000 yards in length. There are some of the longest par threes I have played. There are no bunkers on this course. This is a fun little course in a very fair to good conditions. Beginners and experienced players loves and are challenged at the same time with great fun at this course. It is lighted at night till 10:00PM (note: auto shut off lights!!! head close to the gates before 10:00PM) http://www.indio.org/index.aspx?page=171 Afternoon players can enjoy a cool to warm evening with lights which is the next best thing to AM play.
